Basically, i have just bought the iphone 3g, and i want to get my e-mails on it.

My entourage account is connected to my college on an exchange server where when i plug in the laptop and it updates my e-mail's.

when i'm on the iphone trying to set up the exchange server, i enter the username and password ect but i don't know where to find the server name!

How do i find this? or is it actually possible to recieve my e-mails?

Im sooo confused!

Any help would really be appreciated!

It's a college e-mail account using exchange? Contact your school's help desk. They probably have a set of instructions for exactly what you need to do.

You'll need the host name and SMTP name, something like:

Host name: pop-server.yourisp.com
SMTP: smtp-server.yourisp.com

There is a issue with my connection to Entourage that annoys me. When I check my email on Entourage, the iPhone prohibits the account that's on my iPhone from retrieving mail because it's busy pushing I guess. I have to either turn off the iPhone push and take it off the network, or just wait until it's done pushing? I'm not sure about this, anyone have any insight?
