On previous versions of OSX, if I open the "Printers & Scanners" section of Preferences, I have a button to select "Scan."

Like so:

I have no idea where that is on the new "System Settings" app. Where can I find it?

system settings>printers & scanners (at the bottom); click 'add scanner'...

I have "Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax..." I deleted and re-installed my printer/scanner, but nothing has changed.

Open Image Capture and select the scanner.
The scanner is not showing up there. Maybe it only installed as a printer? On both my prior MacBook (running Monterey) and my current MacBook, it's "kind" is "Samsung M2070 Series-AirPrint."

you may need to check with samsung to see if it's compatible with ventura. or try plugging it in to usb, see if it shows up then...

You need to manually install the drivers and add it again in Printers & Scanners.
