How do I add the same extensions to Chrome and Firefox from another user

I would like to import not only bookmarks but also extensions from another browser (better yet, if I can just access the same browser that another user is using on the same computer, without having to move things to the 'shared' folder under the 'users' , that would be the best)

Browser extensions are made for particular browsers. You can't use a Safari extension with firefox and a firefox extensions with Chrome.

Even if they have the same names, the extension code is different.
