In iCal, I know all about the preference to automatically put an alert on every NEW event. This preference, when set, puts an alert on every event that you enter via iCal on your desktop or laptop. Events entered via your iPhone, and events entered via online calendars that you sync with, do not get alerts.
I really, REALLY want iPhone-entered events to get alerts. Is there perhaps a little piece of software out there that does this? My fantasy is a piece of software for the Mac which checks iCal every 10 minutes or every hour, and it just adds an alert to absolutely every event. Then you sync your iCal to your iPhone via MobileMe. That way, so long as the event is more than 10 minutes from the time you entered it, your iPhone will buzz and alert you.
Does that exist?
