I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me in how to get better attention drawn to an issue or two that I have with OSX 10.9 (Mavericks)

For reference I'm mostly talking about this spotlight search problem:
https://discussions.apple.com/message/24606692#24606692

with a side of this Update nagging:
https://discussions.apple.com/message/23611544#23611544

But generally speaking, when one find something that's wrong-by-design how does one go about getting Apple to actually address the issue?
I know about leaving feedback, but I just don't think that a few people who notice that they're doing it wrong will make them change anything.

Any constructive advice is appreciated! Thanks!

If you are a registered developer (paid), you can submit bug reports at http://bugreport.apple.com/

Apple normally respond to these reports within 2 weeks and ask for further details (if it's not a replicate of another bug report).

If not, you may ask someone else who have access to Apple Bug Report help you submit it. When I am free, I will help you submit them. Hope your problem will get fixed in future releases.

They're not really interested in what you think.

As far as apple is concerned, you aren't an expert on design.
