I want to block a person I know from ever contacting me again. I have her phone and two iPads as contacts, so I want to block calls and texts. There is no obvious way of doing it.

It’s a bit of a kludge if the blockee has not called, not in a recents list.

Make a Contact for them with all the info you have, then add the Contact through Phone’s setting Blocked Contacts.

Aha! -- the light just went off . . . I had a call from her a couple days ago, forgot about it, been all texts since. I went back to "Recents" and blocked it, and I have both iPads blocked. Thanks!

I'll leave the personal details about her aside, ha, but I've never had to block someone I know before.

Can block from Messages/texts as well.

Go to a message, tap phone number, Info, Block Caller.
