from an external HD (backed up via Time Machine) to my newly fresh installed Mountain Lion iMac? I did a fresh install and re-downloaded iLife, iWorks, Aperture, via the App Store. So how do I get back all my photos back to iPhoto and Aperture and my music back into iTunes?

How do I bring over iTunes, iPhoto, and Aperture data

Ok, I'm at the part where you select files to migrate from the external disk but all of them are greyed out. Do I have to access the external hd from another mac?
