Hi,

How do I cancel an iTunes subscription? Have they changed how it's done under iOS 8, or does a cancel option only come up closer to when it's due?

I have checked Apple's page on the matter and it says there should be a cancel option. I am concerned because as you can see the sub clearly says it's an auto-renew, and Macworld UK no longer publishes a paper edition and may soon be not long for this world.

Thanks.

Go to the iTunes store and select your account. You will see a list of subscriptions. You can turn off auto-renew there.

That's what that was, on my iPad.

This is on my Mac, same story no option to cancel.

From looking at that your subscription is not set to auto-renew.

Just let it expire.

Even though it says 'Auto-Renewable'? I hope you're right. Failing that does Apple said you an email in advance of a renew?

In both screen grabs it says it is auto-renewable IF you select a renew option.

Read what it says. Not hard to understand.

If it were set to renew it would say so.
