Cheers to all. Searched for this topic amongst the forums without success.
I recently installed 2 external HDDs internally on my G4 PPC 1.25 GHz MDD dualie (2 GB DDR SDRAM).
One of the drives refuses to be recognized even after I format it and initialize it via Apple's Disk Utility. The very next time I start the Mac, "Boom" - unrecognizable, just like the preceding time.http://images.macrumors.com/vb/images/smilies/mad.gif
I noticed that there are 2 internal HDDs with the Device Number of 0. Could this be the cause?
How do I change the device number of one of those internal HDDs?
Keep up the good work. Thanks to all in advance.
