How do i change iphone tariff / add extra texts

Well, i cant seem to figure out how to change my ihpone tariff, im currently on the 45£ tariff and the 500 texts does not seem to be enough for me monthly. I know the 55£ tariff is still 500 texts but im sure im rite in saying you can add so many texts for a monthly fee?

How do i do so?

im pretty sure that if you just ring o2 they'll be able to do it over the phone!
