how do i change my font color?

hey guys i was wondering how do i change my font color under desktop icons, and under finder those icons are in black i want to change the color, thanks

I don't know about changing the font colour without some sort of theme changer, but you can add a label to an item from the File menu (when the item is selected). Is this the kind of thing you're after?
