On the track
I would like to change my mac address on my MB C2D, running tiger of course. I don't want to change it forever, I just want to change it to be able to access a secure network that I have another mac address registered on. How can I change it? Or at least clone the other address?

you cannot change the MAC of your computer... however, one thing you could do (and there might be more), is to install parallel for mac, and have a virtual machine, and you can manually set the MAC address on that.

what secure network can you not register your current computer to?

edit: sorry, i meant MAC not IP

You can change the IP address of your computer; however, you cannot change the MAC address (I think that's what you meant). ;)

The MAC address is burned into the computer hardware, there's no real way to change it without buying new hardware, but like mentioned above, there are ways to spoof it.

Yeah spoofing the address would be great, that is kinda what I'm looking for. I'll try the above link. Thanks.
