How do i change my sharing and permissions from read only to write and read?

I cannot put files in my flash drive for some reason. How do I change this setting? My flash drive format is Windows NT File System (NTFS).

You can't do that because it's formatted as NTFS. Reformat to FAT32, and you will be good to go.

NTFS

• Read/Write NTFS from native Windows.
• Read only NTFS from native Mac OS X
• To Read/Write NTFS from Leopard: Install MacFUSE and NTFS-3G. You can install both with NTFS-3G for Mac OS X.
• To Read/Write NTFS from Snow Leopard: Guide: Enable native NTFS Read/Write in Snow Leopard
• (Be aware that some are of the opinion that enabling native NTFS in SL is unstable/unreliable, and favor the MacFuse/NTFS-3G method for Snow Leopard)

HFS

• Read/Write HFS from native Mac OS X
• To Read/Write HFS from Windows, Install MacDrive
• To Read HFS (but not Write) from Windows, Install HFSExplorer

Like those found at Panama Channel I suppose? It only takes three to 17 million cycles I suppose to sometimes get a response here. Am I glad I'm still in my pre-teens. But that will be over soon as I enter my puberty in the coming decade or so. That's when I start to get crazy I suppose, at least my younger sister told me so. Hmm, must be looking for secondary schools now I suppose.


In all honesty, I'm older than I not look, but that is matter of another one of those discussions surrounding virii or maybe those about what is better, bread or sliced cheese.
