This might sound kind of stupid, but I want to change the way my Microsoft Word documents are displayed in Finder. The image that is displayed now for each document is just a white piece of paper that says "DOCX" on the bottom (I've attached a picture, it's the first image titled "Screen shot 2011-04-24 at 12.11.59AM"). I would prefer to to have the image that is displayed when I look at the documents when I open Microsoft Word. It's again a piece of paper except the top of the paper is blue with the Microsoft Word "W" in the top left corner & a big blue "a" in the middle of the paper (I've attached an image, it's the 2nd attachment titled "Screen shot 2011-04-24 at 12.16.57 AM"). I've got Microsoft Word 2011 and I'm using a macbook pro. Any help is appreciated.

Turn off off preview in Finder.

`open a folder in finder
`select view menu
`select show view options
`deselect the show icon preview option
`Click use as defaults to ensure system wide compliance
