My son has been using the gamecenter account associated with my apple ID. I am setting up home sharing and would like to move the gamecenter account to his new (age under 13) apple ID, xxxx@icloud.com
How do I do this?

Go into settings --> Gamecenter and click on the Apple ID and you can change it

I want to move the gamecenter ID to the other apple ID. Changing the Apple ID prompts me to create a new gamecenter ID.

Just sign out with your apple id in yours son iDevice and log in through his Apple ID and set up home sharing then log in to Gamecenter ID. Each gamecenter id is associated with one Apple ID , if you want to change gc ID then you have to change Apple ID.

So there is no way to associate a game center id with a different apple id? That doesn't seem right.

I tried to log out of game center on his device. I then logged in with his apple id. That prompted me to create a new game center id.

Unfortunately there's no other way. :( I wanted to do the same thing but when i contacted Apple they told me the same thing which i told you.
