How do I change the serial number in Adobe CS3?

To make a long story short we placed 2 orders with Adobe for CS3. One for 5 licenses and one for 500. I used the serial number from the 5 license instead of the 500 on one machine. I uninstalled and reinstalled CS3, but it kept the serial number. Is there a way to change it?

This information is usually in the application's preference file, regardless of what application you're using. Moving the preference file(s) to the desktop should make CS3 think it's unregistered again so you can input the correct serial number. Should this not work you can always move the preference file back to where it was before.
