Hi there,
I am trying to set up my wireless ADSL router so that I have some security. I dont know much about configuring these sort of things so I am looking to you guys for help. My question is...how do I secure my Wi-Fi (WEP or WPA??). Which would be the most effective way for me to secure the wireless?

And also...how do i find the IP address of my iBook?

Thanks in advance.

Well, they say WPA is more secure. It is the newer technology.

I'm not sure how to find your IP address.

Edit: You can get your AirPort ID in System Preferences under "Network/Airport"

Edit 2: Oh, you can get your IP under the "TCP/IP" tab.

Thanks for the help :)

When i go to configure the WPA in the router setting its asks for the following:

802.1x Server IP Address:

Port:

Secret:

What do these mean?
