I definitely am not very computer savvy person. I'm trying to figure out what cables I need to hook up my Macbook Pro to my Samsung HDTV. I've tried doing research, but I just end up even more confused. I bought my Mac in October 2010. It has HDMI/ Display Port capability as well. I'm too confused by all the different cables though. Can anyone help me out? I have a picture of my TV's cable ports.

Use a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter and an HDMI cable. That way the one cord will do both audio and video.

Also just a suggestion in case you want more replies-change your thread title to say MacBook Pro instead of Mac Pro.

Buy one of these..http://www.amazon.com/Mini-DisplayP...2999&sr=8-2&keywords=mini+displayport+to+hdmi

Then go into settings and select the TV under display settings.

GGJStudios ends up posting this to most of the threads asking about connecting to TV's. I'd suggest an MDP->HDMI adapter as well. Apple makes one as well as others. I've had good luck with the one from Monoprice.
