How do I convert .avi video files to .mp4? If possible, recommend some program(s) that make the process easier. I'll pay if I have to, but not a huge amount

I think I've used VideoMonkey for that, and also MPEGStream Something Or Other Long Winded name. But yeah, Handbrake will work too.
