I imported clips from my camera into iMovie.
When I open iMovie I see the clips as an event. (I can also see them in my Movies folder along with other events)
I want to create a movie I can burn to a dvd. From what I understand I will first have to turn the event into a project. Then I open Share>Media Browser or Share>Export Movie to begin getting the movie into iDvd. (For the moment I don't want to edit the clips, just burn the raw footage).
Assuming I'm more or less correct, I don't know how to turn this event, these clips, into a project i can burn. I can't "Share" the event; it's grayed out.
I've tried dragging the clips from the events library and the clips from my Movies folder to the project library pane ("Drag media here to create new project") but that wouldn't work for me.
I haven't seen anything in the documentation that would help me out here. Which means it's probably so obvious and simple it's not even worth mentioning.
