In order to synchronize my machines, I would like to have a program run on logout. Does anyone know how to do this under Jaguar. Under OS 9, there was a Shutdown Items folder. Is there anything similar on OS X? I can't find anything.

Thanks

shutdown? what's that?

jk...i barely ever turn OFF my machine.

there isn't a logout/shutdown items in OS X...i also haven't been able to find any type of script for it either.

I never shutdown, either, but I believe under OS 9 the Shutdown Items functioned as logout items when you had multiple accounts. This would be extremely helpful, as I see no other way to easily keep my mail in sync, short of setting it to synchronize after a very short interval.
