macOS How do I create 'NSObject' without library?

Hi there - just wanted to know; instead of dragging 'NSObject' from the library, how do I create a generic 'NSObject' using only Xcode (using .h and .m files)?. Failing this, once I have created an 'NSObject' by dragging it into my XIB in Interface Builder, how do I create actions and outlets within Xcode, by modding the .h and .m file?

I'm confuddled, and consider me a COMPLETE n00b. Thanks
