Currently, objects and spreadsheets in Numbers snap to a nearby position when I've moved them as if snapping to a grid. Does anyone know how to de-activate that behavior so I can "free float" my selected item to any position in the spreadsheet?

I don't have an answer for you, as I do not use Numbers, but that would sure drive me nutty.
It reminds me of the annoying auto full screen thing that Windows does when dragging a window around too close to the top. I disabled it on my main Windows computer, but if I am ever using other PCs, I quickly get reminded of how much that feature sucks.
