Hi,
How are you? I hope doing very well : ) !!!
If you feel this thread would be much better in
any other of the forums, please let me know and
I'll change it asap!
About six months ago I had to take the computer
I use, an 11" MBA, on a journey. Before departing,
I had to drag the 'library', the big archive with all
the the jpg's and raw files. My library was very
large, some 30 GB. For me, it was very interesting
from a technical point of view that I only had to
drag this one image, the one with the library, and
that was enough to free up some space in the
computer. The library image with the 30 GB was
dragged into an external hard drive. The only
disadvantage is that I can not pull out from the
library any file(s) of my choice, unless I store back
the library in the computer and connects with iPhoto.
I will be restoring the library to the computer. Once
the library is back, I want to 'dekernel' it. I mean, I
want to 'milk' all the pictures and leave the library
empty. I want to transfer all files, raw and jpg files,
into a folder. And finally, I want to drag this folder
to the external hard drive.
How do I dekernel or milk the pictures? I have never
done it.
Than you in advance, kind regards,
igmolinav : ) !!!
