How do I delete an iPad in "Find My Phone" app??

Got a new iPad and gave the old one to my hubby. Reset all settings and gave it to him with the factory settings. Today, I was checking that the new iPad worked with Find my Phone and the default iPad listed was the old iPad 2. How do I delete it so that the iPad 3 is the only one showing and my husband can use his Apple ID on the old one?

If I remember correctly, you just swipe across the old one and hit Delete. You may need to do this via the web interface.

under FMP on icloud.com click the X next to the device you want to delete.

Yeah I couldn't do it on the app, I had to go to the website to do it to get my old phone off of there. I think the OP was trying to do it from the app.

Nope, SOCO is right. Just swipe the name inside the Find My Phone app, and then hit delete. I don't have iCloud because I'm still running Snow Leopard

sweet, they must have updated it in the app because I couldn't do that a while back. I think it was right around the time iCloud came out.
