I want to disable internet for Windows 7 which is running in Parallels. Reason: I'm tired of a million apps asking me to update and slowing everything down/checking for updates. Is there a way to still keep Parallels online though so I don't miss their updates? And obviously I don't want to disable internet to the Mac OS. Otherwise, I'd simply turn off the modem.
Let's see this wonderful community keep its track record up with me.

So you don't want your Win virtual machine to have any network access? You could remove the virtual network interface from the VM settings.

You can disable updates in most applications. You can also use firewall settings to restrict internet access to certain apps.
