I don't have installation disks for my iBook g4, however it has been suggested i do an archive and install. It states I am using all 37.1 GB of space, however I have no music, downloads or files on my computer that I have put on to use up space. I have a done a repair already and to no avail.

You need the install discs to do an archive and install or any other system installation. Read here for more informations about the Archive and Install:

To find out what is using all your hard drive space try Disk Inventory X:

I hope it helps.
