Hi,
I figured out how to make a colored background.
I'm making a book cover. For now, I want to mock-up the title & author lettering/fonts over a colored background, for sizing, which will later be replaced by more specific fonts and an image in the background. At that point the image itself may have to be done in layers, but for now I just need to know how to do the basic layering process. I've searched the net and Word help to no avail. I looked around here also.
There have been some instructions from the Internet that show me 'Formatting Palettes' that aren't the same as the Formatting Palette in my Word 2008, nor do they seem to be the same as the Formatting Palette that shape-shifts or changes when I click on Text Box, though I'm not sure I'm describing that correctly.
Would someone please describe to me how to do the next layer, which is the text layer? I want to have a white large sans serif letters over a colored background.
Thanks,
Rafael
