I bought a refurb iPhone and the battery life is a little on the short side. I was wondering if they put a new battery in refurbs. Is there a way to find out how many recharge cycles an iPhone battery has gone through (like you can on a Mac)? Thanks!

I would imagine a legit refurb from Apple would have a fresh battery in it. I hear refurb products are good deal and as close to new as you'll get.

I'm sure someone who knows for sure will chime in here.

If you really want to know, the apple store repair bar can get that info using their computers.

You could make an appointment with them and ask them to check your battery health.
