How Do I Find Out The Internal Temperature For My MacBook?

I downloaded that freeware app, but it didin't work. Do I need to put something into the MacBook to find out the temp? My MacBook rarely goes to sleep cause I'm constantly uploading and downloading, and it's always pretty hot in the corner. Just wondering if that's ok for it. Or if it's a bad level of heat. Thanks guys.

Most computers automatically shut down if it becomes dangerously hot.

CoreDuoTemp or whatever that app is called _should_ work..
