How do I fix this? (PICTURE)

I just noticed this in my system preferences the other day. I have restarted a few times, but it is still happening. What is the problem and how can I fix it?

If it was me I would run Disk Utility and repair permissions, then restart my Mac.

Is it a picture of your System Preferences? What's the icon on the lower right?

The icon that is messed up is the Universal access icon. Here is a complete shot of my System Preferences window.

Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.systempreferences.plist

Did you reboot after trashing the plist file?

Get rid of the ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.preferencepanes.cache file

(You could just delete everything in the Caches folder in the Library folder that's in your user's home folder.)

I had this problem for the longest time but just got used to it.

awesome, thats the same problem i was gonna ask about, except i had it with the speech preferances button. shows that sometimes it does help to search first post later!

EDIT: just so add, it was Mitthrawnuruodo's post on deleting the cache that worked for me, without a restart.
