how do i force quit (hung) file copying

Hi, did a simple drag copy of a few missing fonts from my back up disk to my main disk.

the copying of less than 1 meg files has hung... (been just rotating the progress bars for almost an hour)

the stop copying button does not work...

is there anyway I can force quit it otherwise.
