Hi all.

This forum is awesome some really helpful people got me passed the DNS setting on xbox live using my Macs wireless connection for the 360

But someone said i needed to forward some ports as my NAT is Strict and it wont allow me to sign in and i dont know how to do it!
I've tried googling and there some sites that help but i still dont understand

my Mac Airport IP is 192.168.2.2 / 255.255.255.0
My MAc ethernet is 10.0.0.1
My 360 settings are 10.0.0.2

What Ip address do i forward to? on the routerhelp thing it only allows you to but a digit/s on the end of 192.168.2. but my ethernet and 360 is different?

Really confused!

Thanks

Chris

Tried searching for hours today still no luck :(

basically all my settings are

Mac Eth IP: 10.0.0.1
Mac wireless: 192.168.2.2
Router: 192.168.2.1

360 Ip: 10.0.0.2
Sub: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 10.0.0.1

As mentioned passes the tests but NAT is strict

I've been on portforwarding.com and it says to put the different ports in the virtual servers.... but.... when I do that

1) port 88 wont open as the belkin router is using it (on a site it says open 87 and 89 instead)
2) what static ip do i put it to it sounds like on other sites you put it it your 360's ip but i cant as it only gives the option 192.168.2.xx
where as mine is 10.0.0.2 and if i change it to like 192.168.2."20" or any other field in fact, the internet wont work / or i get IP problems

PLEASE help before i go insane and break up my marriage through neglect!

Chris
