iPhone X How do I get a password to be remembered

on my IOS 12.1...

Here is what I mean,you go to an app to sign in and you can click on a list of sites where the info is remembered but this particular site isnt on that list, how do you add it to that list?

OK, I think I found it in settings but it requires I type in that exact url...is there a shortcut for that?

When you visit a site and put in your user name and pass code, it should ask if you want that to be remembered. If you say yes, it adds it to the list for you.

I dont think it always does, but lets say it does, to manually enter it I am not sure how to find the url since this is mostly for apps.

I'm guessing that some apps can be coded to not allow iCloud Keychain integration. I have one banking app that won't ask for the password to be remembered.
