how do i get all my email......

hi, recently had a problem with my macbook pro took it to apple they backed ever think up to my external hard drive now they put ever think back on BUT is there a way i can get all my old emails and folders back on to my mail account????

You should be able to get all your Inbox email back to you as this is kept with you mail server? Who is it?
