Just got a new MBA and want to transfer all my stuff from my ipad (or iphone) to the new air. Is it simply a matter of snycing to iTunes. When I do that will it not erase everything on my ipad? TIA.

How do I get all my music, contacts, etc from my ipad to new MBA

Do you have the computer you previous sync the ipad with? If you do just copy and paste the folder to your new mac and there you go. If not..
