How Do I Get Garage Band?

I recently got the iBook G4 passed down to me it use to belong to my dad. I was wondering does anyone know how to get garage band on it? I noticed it is on alot of Macs Computers And Laptops but not mine, i think it isnt on mine because it may have been bought before it was out. If you want to know what im running on and stuff see the picture.

No i got given just the laptop it self and the charger

The cheapest way to get it is call up AppleCare and request them to send you the restore disc. For approx. $15 USD ea. you could get the install DVD and the applications disc for a total of $30 and some change.

With iLife 09 being the current version, it should be easy to find someone that will give you their copy of iLife 08. With your older MB, you are better off using the older version anyway.
