How do I get in touch with my Apple Store from the phone

I'm trying to call the Apple Store because I need to have a repair on my computer rescheduled, but I don't know if the parts will be saved for when I attempt to get them. The automated system won't transfer me to a representative. How do you guys get in touch with them?

I had something like this happen to me recently and couldn't get in direct contact with my local Apple Store.

What I did was call Apple Care and told them I was trying to get in touch with my local Apple Store but was transferred to them. They then transferred my call to the Apple Store and spoke with someone there.
