Just updated to iOS 6.01 for my 4s (waiting for googlr maps to be available).

So, my apps are gone and I can see them in iTunes but have no idea how to get them back on the phone or how to get instructions to do this. The upgrade did not seem to effect my contacts or other data. just want to know how to resotre the apps.

Thanks in advance.

Try flipping through your home screen pages further to the right than you remember. I'm serious. Since iOS 6 introduced Passbook as a stock app, all of your other apps get pushed to new screens while one screen (the 2nd) remains almost empty. I had the same reaction for a sec until I swiped around.
