How do I get my CD out of my laptop?

On the desktop there doesn't show a CD thing, and when I press the the eject button nothing comes out. Also when I try to put a new CD in it wont go in. There's for sure something in my laptop. How do I get it out!

Force eject CD

on my MBP 2011 13", I use option+eject or command + eject.
