Hey Everyone, so I have an apple adapter so I can use ethernet with my macbook air via USB. However it does not seem to work, every time I plug it in the computer does not seem to recognize it. Is there a setting somewhere I need to change? Ive tried adding "USB Ethernet" in the network settings however it does not seem to add it. Thank you in advance!

How do you know it isn't being "recognized" or isn't working?

If you can see it in the network preferences pane it seems like it probably is working. How do you know there isn't a problem with the network itself?

I can't see it in the pane, But when I hit the + there is an option to add one. It doesn't work because I do not have internet when it is plugged in.
