I know that the camera is capable of transferring video via USB because I've done it on windows software, but when I hook it to my mac with USB and click the camcorder icon in iMovie it only gives me the option of iSight and not the camera that's plugged in. It's in PC mode on the camera too. I can't think of anything else to do. If anybody can help I'd appreciate it.

iMovie '08 is the only version so far that supports importing from USB capable camcorders. Things to do before trying to connect the camera: 1) restart the computer unless you just turned it on, 2) perform a PRAM reset holding down on the :apple:+option+P+R, 3) launch iMovie and then connect the camera before placing the camcorder in playback mode.
