How do I get my "Other" bar to disappear?

Delete text messages first, they take up space after a while.

"other" could be corrupt files. Only way to plunge it out of the system is to do a restore.

Same here, but with fb app! I had like 150mb worth of document and data, worse I dont even know where they are coming from.

Fb app barely 15mb, but from time to time it added up to 150mb of wat?

Wow deleted all my text messages and got it down to 1.15GB. thanks everyone for the advice.

Make a backup of your phone (through iCloud and iTunes, just to be sure) and set it up as a new phone. Then restore your backup.
