How do I get network folders to automatically mount?

Hi,

I have several PC's in my network and would like to get some of the shared folders in the workgroup to automatically mount when I login to the iMac. How do I go about doing this? I don't want to create an alias because the network folder still needs to mount when I click on the Alias.

What i do is make an alias then turn off the showing of network drives. So for all my browsing needs i go through the alias. It also mounts fast.
