In a van down by the river
I got a new M4 MBP a few hours ago and needless to say, I feel like I am in a tailspin with the new OS lol I like it a lot but, there is so much to relearn. As soon as I did search in the URL bar, I noticed what looks like some type of Google integration into Sequoia. It shows every time a search is done. How do I get rid of it? Safari is my default search. I don't use Google. It did this right out of the box. See attached screenshot.

I welcome any other practical advice (as well) regards to Sequoia settings.

Thanks

Thank you, Charles. That solved my frustration. I never had a problem before setting it first thing. Apple sure did a job moving and hiding things with this new OS. I wasn't prepared for so many changes, especially with the new Google integration.
I knew immediately what you meant, as I had the same reaction using my new Mac without having changed any settings. I'd been using DuckDuckGo search long enough to forget that Google is the default.
