How do i get rid of this large white rectangle across my youtube page?

a large semi-transparent white rectangle stretches across the youtube page. anyone know how to get rid of it?

Start by disabling your Chrome extensions one-by-one as it is quite possibly one of those.

thanks brian - i don't know which one was the fix (i didn't even realize i had umpteen extensions as it were) but i just started removing most of them and it worked. thanks!
