I have changed wallpapers, tried colors, put in my photos - and no matter what I do, I still get this annoying text in the center of my monitors.

I don't know where it comes from, but I'd like to get rid of it.
Any ideas about what I need to do?

Thank you.

Do you have the utility named Onyx?
Open that, then go to the Parameters tab.
When that window loads, choose the Finder tab.
Turn off the setting "Show the location path of the current desktop picture on the desktop"
That should remove that text.
