When I use Firefox, I automatically get a "do you want to save" message when I close down so when I restart FF, I'm back with my same tabs, etc.
Never happens with Safari. I even input ID's at web sites which aren't held the next time around. Can I get Safari to act like FF when it comes to saving tabs, site Id's, and such
Thanks.

Nope, safari doesn't save tabs... I suggest using trying Firefox or Opera

Maybe in an upcoming version.... that sure would be nice.
Thanks.

History > Reopen Last Closed Window
History > Reopen All Windows From Last Session

Gets you part of the way there. If it's important enough, you can drag the tabs off and create individual windows for them before you Quit, then when you go back, you can drag the windows back to become tabs in a single window.

Gregg2,
That sounds interesting. I never knew about that.
I'll give it a try.
Thanks.

Wow, it works great. When I hit:
History/Reopen All Windows from Last session, it opened up the 3 windows I finished up with plus each of the tabs from each of the windows. I literally had a copy of where I left off.
Thanks for your help.

>>i not using safari but using firefox, maybe can give safari a try.<<

I used FF because of the things it did that Safari "didn't." Guess I just didn't know where to find out those things. I'd like to use Safari since it syncs the info with my iPhone.
