how do I get songs from iTunes (XP) to external HD

how do I get songs from iTunes (XP) to WD external HD?

Is there a command or do I just copy and paste the songs?

Just find the folder in my music called itunes music. All your music will be there neatly organized in artist and cd folders, then just drag/drop or copy/paste those folders or the whole itunes music folder to an external hard drive, I have all my music backed up on my 20GB color, it's great for when my computer ******* out on me twice already and I lost everything, damn windows.
