I have got many songs on my ipod mini that i haven't got on my touch and PC, how do i get the songs on my mini to my PC?

Doesn't iTunes have them?

Didn't you orgially have them in Itunes to get them to your mini? If so then when you plug in your new iPOD they should all be there.

You just tell iTunes to sync them to the new ipod.

That is the way mine worked.

Resync the mini to the iTunes

This is what I did (have suffle, PC/XP and now iTouch)
  1. make sure the iTouch is not pulgged in
  2. plug in your mini
  3. sync to iTunes
  4. Your iTunes should have all the songs now
  5. Plug and sync in your iTouch
  6. Make sure the option to sync all is on or all of the music you want are checked for them to sync.

Step 3
how do i sync to itunes?

When you plug in your mini - doesn't iTunes recognize that it has just been plugged in?

I have had a problem with this in the past.
I rebooted my PC (Windows XP)
Brought up iTunes
Then plugged in the iPod
It should recognize it and then sync it up

Yes itunes does come up.
and says my ipod mini is plugged in and thats it.

Sync

So your itunes recoginzes your ipod...

Within iTunes, can you right click on the ipod and select Sync?

It doesn't have the option sync
it has:

open
eject
new playlist
transfer purchases
reset warnings

Now all of a sudden itunes doesn't come up when my mini is plugged in?
when i open itunes it isn't there?
my touch works fine though.

reboot

I have had this happen before
I would reboot
after it comes up bring up itunes
only plug in your mini
